B.A.S.E. DAYCARE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS EDUCATIONAL CORE
The Environmental Consciousness Educational Core of the B.A.S.E. Daycare program teaches students to consider the possibilities of the natural environment. As society today becomes further removed from nature—and especially food sources—increasing the awareness of young people will ultimately create a better future for them and the planet. The Environmental Consciousness programs explore the role we as humans play in shaping and caring for our planet.
If you would like to be involved in Green Club too, consider joining or creating a garden committee at your school! Here’s a helpful document on the roles and responsibilities a garden committee undertakes to help their schoolyard garden succeed.
We also offer professional development workshops for staff. Please contact us if you would like to start a Green Club or book a workshop!
